Privacy Policy
Seloria doesn't collect any data. There's no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Everything you do in the app stays on your iPhone.
Seloria is a daily Scripture app made by Tsikada. This policy explains what the app keeps, where it keeps it, and what that means for you.
What Seloria stores, and where
Seloria keeps the following on your iPhone, and only there:
- Your answers from setup: what brings you here, what you're seeking, and the kind of experience you prefer
- Your reminder settings
- The passages you've been shown, and the ones you open, save or share
- Your journal entries
- Your progress through guided journeys
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We have no servers and no way to see it. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud Backup or to a computer, it's included in those backups, which Apple handles.
How it's used
Only to run the app for you: to choose your daily passage and explain why, and to show your history, your Scripture journey and your progress.
Your journal never shapes recommendations unless you turn on Let reflections shape recommendations. Even then, Seloria only notices which passages you reflect on, never the words you write, and it does so on your iPhone.
Reminders
If you turn on the daily reminder, it's scheduled on your iPhone. No server is involved.
Purchases
Seloria Plus is sold through the App Store, and Apple handles every payment. We never see your payment details or your Apple Account. On your iPhone, the app checks which purchases are active (which plan, and when it was bought and renews) so it can unlock Plus. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchases.
Sharing a passage
When you share a passage, Seloria makes an image on your iPhone and hands it to the iOS share sheet. What happens next depends on the app you choose to share it with.
Diagnostics
If you've allowed your iPhone to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. They describe the technical cause of a crash and don't include anything you've read or written. Seloria itself sends nothing.
Deleting your data
In Seloria, go to Settings › Erase all data to remove everything the app has stored. Deleting the app does the same. To cancel a subscription, see Support.
